Just a few days until calendar Summer and outdoor party season officially starts. I'd love to help you wow your guests with this easy recipe of Sweet Chili Prawn & Ricotta Profiterole Skewers.
These skewers look so good and unified on a big table together with other delicious party food. The gentle sweet chili, fresh herbs, and chilling ricotta filling work perfectly together.
Ingredients
Profiterole - click for the ingredients
Ricotta filling
- 250 g fresh ricotta
- 3 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 cloves garlic
Sweet chilli prawns
- 200 g jumbo king prawns
- 3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp extra virgin Picudo olive oil from Reinos de Taifas
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- Fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions
Profiteroles
- Prepare the choux pastry according to this recipe.
Ricotta filling
- By a fork mix the ricotta, dill garlic and spices.
- Fill the mixture into a piping bag with a long piping tip.
Sweet chilli prawns
- Heat up the olive oil in a pan.
- Add the prawns with salt and pepper.
- Brush each prawn with the sweet chilli sauce.
- Sear them for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- When you finished frying, sprinkle the prawns with the freshly chopped coriander.
Assembly
- Use bamboo skewers.
- Each skewer should contain a prawn and profiterole.
