What I do
Food is often at the centre of my work.
Not as an everyday commodity, but as the hero that must read instantly, hold attention, and make people salivate wherever it appears, bringing photography, styling, motion and recipes into one creative process.
You rarely get a second chance at a first visual impression. I make sure what we create earns attention at a glance.
Alongside client projects, I also share what years of practice have taught me. Through creative guidance, workshops and educational content, I challenge and enrich how people think about food and its visual presentation.
Formats may change, but attention to detail, transparency and a down-to-earth approach sit at the core of everything I do.
How this way of working developed
I didn’t arrive at this way of working through a straight line.
Long before founding Three Pod Studio, I was drawn to making things by hand — observing closely, experimenting, and learning through doing. Food was part of that early on, demanding care, patience and attention.
Later, while living across different countries, food became the anchor that helped me stay grounded as everything else shifted. Constantly adapting to new environments, cultures, and constraints taught me to value clarity, preparation and follow-through — and to make decisions that hold up under real conditions.
When Finland became home, that way of working found the right environment to settle and mature. Three Pod Studio grew from there, shaped by both the discipline of professional work and the curiosity rooted in my childhood.
Today, those foundations guide every project I take on. Whether I’m shaping visual concepts, guiding others through their creative decisions, or navigating complex briefs, the emphasis stays the same: thoughtful decisions, steady execution, and work that supports real client goals.

I start by clarifying what the work needs to achieve. That means asking the right questions early, defining priorities, and aligning on constraints before production begins. Projects are led with a clear structure, realistic timelines, and clear communication throughout. Decisions are made deliberately, with attention to detail and respect for the brief.
I’m comfortable working independently or adapting to existing workflows alongside in-house teams and agencies. When pressure is part of the job, I focus on keeping next steps simple and dependable.
