1. Who we are

  • Reka Csulak, the owner of Three Pod Studio and threepodstudio.com domain ("us", "we", or "our") operates https://www.threepodstudio.com ("our website").
  • "Client Galleries" are online photo galleries dedicated to each of our clients, and we use them during the proofing process and for online file transfer.
  • Our domain, website, Client Galleries, invoicing, accounting, bookkeeping and online store together are referred to as "the Service".
  • Social media pages/profiles under the @threepodstudio tag on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, Pinterest, and LinkedIn are referred to as "our social media".
  • When we say “visitor” or “you”, we are referring to individuals or organisations who are visiting or using the Service.
  • Our domain (threepodstudio.com) is linked to our website and Client Galleries that are hosted by Pixieset (or "Host"), please visit their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for further information about their practices.
  • Our domain (threepodstudio.com) is associated with "our email", and our email addresses can be identified by the (at)threepodstudio(dot)com ending. We use Google to manage our emails, please visit their Privacy & Terms web page: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

2. What information do we collect?

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve the Service to you.

Personal Data: While using the Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: Email address, First name and last name, Cookies and Usage Data.

Information you provided directly: When you use the Service and submit your contact details (name, email address, address, etc.) preferences, message, feedback, payment details, agreement details, or other information via the contact forms, Client Galleries, orders, purchases, the booking process or during other activities related to the Service.

These may include, but are not limited to your IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps of your interactions on our website. This information is mainly collected automatically using cookies or other similar technology.

These may include, but are not limited to device and location information, limited information on your card used for payment, prior visits to our website, or whether you opened a subscription-based email marketing campaign (to receive such email you give your consent during the sign-up, and can unsubscribe at any time) or other information.

  • You may opt out of a mailing list we manage simply by unsubscribing = use the unsubscribe button/link that you can find included in each email. You only receive such communication in case you opt-in. Please take a note that some of our communication may be prepared up to 10 weeks in advance and can’t be stopped, but we’ve made sure none go out after that.
  • You may opt out of our other marketing-related communication included in direct emails or messages by sending your request to hello@threepodstudio.com or by responding to the direct email/message you received from us. This type of communication is sent by us directly and not part of a subscription-based mailing list, therefore it is not possible for us to include for example an unsubscribe button/link, but we are providing the described opt-out options as a convenient solution. Upon your request, we will stop sending you marketing-related communication included in direct emails or messages that may contain general/seasonal offers, while we retain the right to contact you in other cases including but not limited to general communication and matters related to negotiation, project, contract/agreement, assignment, licence, payment/invoice, deadlines, reminders.

5. How do we share the information we collect?

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from in jurisdiction. If you are located outside Finland (EU), and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Finland (EU) and process it there, and that we may use Third-party Service Providers (such as Google and Google Analytics), that requires overseas data transfer (including but not limited to the United States) to conduct processing. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to these transfer. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Third-party Service Providers: We may share your information with our third-party Service Providers who provide and support the Service. We will only share information that is necessary for the third-party to complete the service and require them to use the information in a manner that is consistent with this policy. Examples of Service Providers include but are not limited to hosting and content delivery services, customer support and client management services and payment or accounting processors.

Analytics: We may use Third-party Service Providers -such as Google Analytics with integrated Google Search Console - to monitor and analyse the use of the Service. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript (gtag.js, analytics.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of the Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

Change in business: In the case of a merger, acquisition, financing, re-organisation, or sale, information collected may be shared on the basis that it is subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

To comply with the law: Information may be disclosed if it is deemed necessary to comply with the law and court order, to protect the rights of individuals, and to fulfil law enforcement requirements.

We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Marketing: We may share information with third-party advertising networks (such as Google, Meta etc.) in order to deliver relevant advertisements to you and to manage our communications with you. We do not use your content for this purpose.

6. How do we protect the information we collect?

The security of your data is highly important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analysing how the Service is used. These third-parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We will retain your information for as long as long as needed to provide you with the Service. We may also retain and use your information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect our and others’ interests. We may continue to store your information for a reasonable amount of time after your latest purchase, in case you wish to continue using the Service. Anonymised information that is not identifiable to a person might be retained to help us improve the Service.

8. Links to other sites 

Our Service may contain links to other, third-party sites and embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other, third-party sites too that might not be operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party's site, and embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

The Portfolio of Reka Csulak and the Client Galleries are presented by -the same service provider as the host of our website- Pixieset. For more information about their practices, please visit the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service of Pixieset.

Other sites and services: Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or other websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers or service providers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us via hello@threepodstudio.com. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

10. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes, and we are not responsible for notifying you about changes or updates via email or any other way. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. When making a change, we also update the "Last Update" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

11. Your Rights

You have the right over your personal information. Subject to any exemptions provided by law, we take reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. A data deletion request does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we will normally collect personal information from you only where a) we have your consent to do so, b) where we need your personal information to fulfil a contract with you or c) where the processing is in our legitimate interest in providing the Service. In most cases, if you do not provide the requested information, we will not be able to provide the service to you.
