Mission possible
I reached a point where my passion met professional ambition, and I started diving into various events and workshops. Dissatisfied with replicating others' concepts, I craved something unique.
As a result, I designed a workshop that is empowering creators' unique style while breaking away from cookie-cutter portfolios. Despite a pandemic delay and after 3 years of refining - it's finally here!

Style & Mingle Workshops
- I'll personally facilitate the workshop, and bring you exciting hands-on tasks that you can freely interpret while practicing photography and discovering new perspectives during the day (5h).
- You will receive a copy of a custom workbook I create for the event with handy guides and tips that will help you processing each tasks and refer back to them at any time after the workshop.
- To maximise the creative potential of the event, you will get access to continuous lighting gear + unique props I select from my carefully curated collection for each events.
- This is a small group event, for a personalised creation experience with my direct help.
- You can flexibly use the results you create with each task digitally and in print and add them to your portfolio, website, online platforms, or as decoration and illustration.
- Depending on the number of participants, this can be also a fantastic networking opportunity where you can meet and get to know other participants, discuss your ideas while exchanging creative ideas and knowledge in a cozy environment. In the rare scenario of you being the only participant due to cancellations etc, you can enjoy my full attention and we can co-create together the whole time.
- No professional photography or styling experience is needed - you can join with confidence by bringing either your smartphone or your camera.
- This event has no strict educational agenda - instead it provides a gentle guidance without interfering with your implementation, so you can enjoy the whole creation process from having the idea to capturing the result.
- We communicate in English, so both nationals and internationals can feel included.
- In case there is a delay at the beginning caused by late arrivals etc. we might have the possibility continue the workshop at maximum for 1 additional hour.
- Individual ticket: ideal if you prefer to complete creative tasks of the workshop independently on your own + if your goal is to capture a fresh set of images that will represent your very own concepts to your audience and clients.
- Co-creation ticket: bring your friend, save money on your ticket, then co-create each task while spending quality time together!
- Card payment in the online store (within Finland).
- Manual invoice that you can request, and then pay via bank transfer.
- VAT (at the current general VAT rate in Finland)

- the use of selected props, tools and seasonal items for styling (raw ingredients, flowers, food etc.)

- you can freely collaborate with other participants during the full or partial time-frame for each task;

Workshop FAQ + Terms
I'm not a professional, can I join?
STYLE & MINGLE: no experience is needed
Anyone can join from beginner to professional level and the workshop is tailored in a way that is equally enjoyable for everyone. The Style & Mingle workshop provides you with a creative space and gentle guidance so you can let the creative juices flow and try new things with confidence.
I am ready to reserve my seat. What's next?
BOOKING & PAYMENT PROCESS
- Please use the online store (within Finland) & pay online for your chosen ticket type(s) for your preferred event(s).
- Alternatively, you can request a manual invoice worldwide (immediate due) by filling out the ticket reservation form. In this case, I will guide you through the booking process via email. Your booking/reservation is complete when I am sending you a full payment confirmation via email.
Can children attend the workshops?
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 18
- All participants must be ticket holders who are at minimum 18-year-old adults, expected to be responsible for their actions without additional supervision.
- (In case there will be workshops specifically organised for children in the future, this policy will be adjusted for those specific events only.)
What's the language of the workshop?
OUR COMMON LANGUAGE
- The official language of these workshops is English - and we shall adhere to this, so both local and international creators can share the same experience and feel 100% included.
- Even if English is not your first language, do not worry, I'm not a native speaker either, but as I collaborated with expats from all over the globe I'm confident that will understand each other just fine! :)
What to bring with me?
STYLE & MINGLE: Your creativity + a few essentials
- your camera or smartphone + batteries, chargers for your gear
- tripod (optional) - but shooting from hand sometimes can be more practical for this event
- lunch is not included; feel free to bring your snack that you can enjoy during the break.
What happens if I'm late?
PLEASE NOTIFY ME ASAP
In case you are late, message me on the given channel. We might have the possibility to continue the event a little bit longer. Final closing time for Style & Mingle: 16:30/17:00.
Do you teach during the workshops?
STYLE & MINGLE: we will focus on creating
- There is no dedicated time or agenda for teaching or explaining how to use your gear (manual mode etc.) or how to train your artistic vision during these workshops.
- However, I'll certainly give you handy pointers for the tasks you will complete, while also being available for brainstorming, general guidance or task-related troubleshooting - and if you need a hand model, I'll be there to help you out :)
