Today - on the day of publication- I am a member of Ruokatoimittajat ry (Finnish Food Writers' Association), and attended this PR event as a food writer (not as an influencer).

After a packed work schedule on the first day of the week I headed to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and found my seat at a special dinner table along with my fellow food writers at the Finnish Food Writers' Association (Ruokatoimittajat ry).
Werther you arrive by public transport, car, scheduled flight or your own private jet, Brasserie NÒR serves you a memorable food & drink experience. The restaurant opened in June 2024 at a location easily accessible right across the airport terminal. After a quick elevator ride to the 12th floor of the new Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport you can admire the exceptional view over the runway.
When entering the brasserie, you find yourself in a cool cocktail bar. Imagine sipping one of the signature cocktails, well-known classics or a glass of wine while watching the continuous show provided by the landing and departing planes before it's time to enter the terminal and start your new adventure!
Kim Kuukkeli, Food & Beverage Manager advised if the morning finds you at the airport, you can replace your usual terminal bites with a breakfast on the second floor of the hotel, as early as 4 a.m. or join the weekend breakfast buffet feast with 175+ dishes. Thematic brunches - such as the upcoming Father's Day and Finnish Independence Day brunch- are also organised multiple times during the year.
Then, from lunchtime to bedtime, NÒR got you covered! The spacious dining area is offering various table options suitable for a romantic dinner for two or large gathering - and of course, there are several seats right by the window and on the terrace. The menu reflects the changing seasons and gets an update about four times a year. Based on your level of hunger and the amount of time you have before your flight, you can choose from the versatile à la carte offers or sign up for the three-course Chef's Choice menu - that the following part of this event continued with!
The elegant and sophisticated interior design is also reflected in the carefully curated dinner- and glassware, which was the first thing that caught my eye even before the tasting journey started.
Jari Kettunen, Executive Chef, and Mariano Gray, Bar Manager guided our tasting experience from starter to dessert, with great professionalism.

NÒR positions itself as "a modern European brasserie, where skilfully executed dishes are inspired by Nordic, high-quality ingredients and changing seasons" - and after this tasting experience, I can personally vouch for this!
