Today - on the day of publication- I am a member of Ruokatoimittajat ry (Finnish Food Writers' Association), and attended this PR event as a food writer (not as an influencer).

2 June 2025 - Konepaja, Helsinki


Summer may have arrived with a drizzle, but the spirit of the annual Kesäskumpat event of Ruokatoimittajat ry with my fellow food writers was anything but grey. This year, we gathered at Brukett’s brand-new HQ & showroom in the heart of Konepaja, Helsinki - a space where raw industrial heritage now meets soft Nordic minimalism.

Hosted inside a beautifully restored building, we kicked things off with a refreshing Croft Twist spritz in hand, before being introduced to the powerhouses now under one creative roof: Brukett, Anton & Anton, Heino Group, and Kalavapriikki. Each brought their own flavour to the afternoon - from novelties, sustainability infused missions to family business roots stretching back to 1899.


The building tour felt like a quiet tribute to the past: exposed brick, rugged iron, and clever lighting showing respect to what once was, while confidently embracing what’s next. It’s not just an office - it’s a showroom, a workspace, and a testament to thoughtful transformation.

And what’s a summer toast without sweets and sparkle?


Cloud Patisserie charmed us with their earl-grey-peach cake roll and delicate macarons, while the bubbles - Vilarnau Organic Cava and its alcohol-free sister - flowed freely. We even had a sip of Finnish craftsmanship with NOITA Polaris wine, a HORECA exclusive that’s hard not to love.


Even the rain couldn’t dampen the mood - just softened the light, made the vibes more warm, and the connections even cosier.
